Content width changed site-wide in Neve ​

If your site suddenly looks narrow after editing a single section or page, a synced layout value was likely applied globally.

Why this happens ​

When you use Sync with Global while editing a section or page layout width, Neve updates the global Container value too. This affects the whole site, not only the page you were editing.

Restore the global content width ​

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Global > Container.
  2. Review the global Container Width and Container Style values.
  3. Restore the values you want for your site-wide layout.
  4. Click Publish.

📝 Note: If the change happened after using Sync with Global, deleting the section or block you edited does not revert the synced global value. You need to set the global Container values back manually.

Global vs individual layout width settings ​

  • Global settings in Appearance > Customize > Global > Container apply site-wide.
  • Individual page settings in Neve Options > Page Layout can override the global values for a specific page.

If only one page is affected, open that page and check its Neve Options > Page Layout settings. For more details, check Neve Page Options.
