Managing Multiple Subscriptions
If you see multiple subscriptions or license entries in your Themeisle account, this guide explains why this happens and how to manage them.
In this article
Why Do I See Multiple Subscriptions?
There are several common reasons why your account may show more than one subscription:
You have subscriptions for different products - Each Themeisle product (Neve Pro, Otter Pro, Feedzy Pro, etc.) has its own separate subscription. These renew independently and may have different billing dates.
An old subscription was replaced - If you previously had a subscription that expired or was cancelled, and you later purchased the same product again, both entries may appear in your account. Only the active subscription will renew and charge you.
A support adjustment was made - In some cases, our support team may have created a new subscription to resolve a billing issue. The old entry may still be visible but will not be charged if it is inactive.
A previous payment failed - If a renewal payment failed and was retried or a new subscription was created to replace it, you may see multiple entries. Only the active one is billing you.
How to Check Which Subscriptions Are Active
- Log in to your ThemeIsle account.
- Go to the My Products tab.
- Each product will show its current status. Look for the Manage Subscription button, which indicates an active, billing subscription.
- Click Manage Subscription to see the full details in the Stripe portal, including the next renewal date and amount.
Subscriptions that are expired, cancelled, or inactive will not show a Manage Subscription button and will not result in any future charges.
Multiple Subscriptions for the Same Product
You may have more than one subscription or license key for the same product — for example, one plan covering a single site and another covering several sites. Each subscription and its license key renews independently. Renewing one subscription extends only the license key attached to that subscription. It does not extend or transfer to a different license key you own, even when both are for the same product.
Before you renew, confirm you are renewing the license key that your websites actually use:
- Check which license key is active on which domains. See How to manage your website licenses for the exact steps.
- Match that license key to the subscription you are about to renew, and confirm the renewal amount and plan level before paying. See How to manually renew your plan or subscription.
⚠️ Pay attention: If you are not sure which subscription matches the license key your sites use, contact our support team before renewing. It is easier to confirm the correct subscription first than to review a renewal applied to the wrong license key afterward.
Will I Be Charged Twice?
No. Only active subscriptions with auto-renewal enabled will result in charges. Expired or cancelled subscriptions will not renew or charge your payment method, even if they still appear in your account history.
How to Clean Up Old Subscriptions
Old or inactive subscriptions are kept in your account history for reference. They do not affect your active products or billing. If you'd like inactive entries removed from your account for clarity, contact our support team and we can help.
Managing Subscriptions for Multiple Sites
If you manage multiple websites, keep in mind:
- Each license has a site limit (1-site, 3-site, etc.) based on your plan.
- You can manage which sites use your license from your ThemeIsle account. See How to manage your website licenses for details.
- You do not need a separate subscription for each website if your plan covers multiple sites.
