How to set up Feedzy on WordPress Multisite
Feedzy works on WordPress Multisite networks. You install and activate the plugins once for the whole network, then activate the license and set up Feedzy on each subsite that uses it.

What is shared and what is set up on each subsite
Network activation makes Feedzy available on every subsite. It does not share Feedzy's setup between subsites. Each subsite keeps its own:
- Feedzy Pro license activation
- feed sources and import jobs, including their prompts and schedules
- Feedzy settings, including Manage AI by Themeisle
- AI integration keys, such as your OpenAI API key
Each subsite where you activate the Feedzy Pro license uses one activation from your plan, whether your network uses subdomains or subfolders. Make sure your plan has enough activations for all the subsites that use Feedzy Pro. See How domains are counted by our license checking system and the Feedzy pricing page.
Install and network-activate Feedzy
- Log in to your Network Admin and go to Plugins.
- Install Feedzy RSS Feeds and upload Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro.
- Click Network Activate for both plugins.
For the full installation steps, see How to install, activate, and manually update Feedzy Pro.
Set up each subsite
Repeat these steps in the dashboard of each subsite that uses Feedzy.
Activate the license
Go to Feedzy > Dashboard > License, enter your license key, and activate it. Until the license is active on a subsite, Feedzy Pro features are not available there.
Create the import jobs
Add the feed sources the subsite needs and create its import jobs, with their own prompts and schedules. For the steps, see How to use Feed to Post feature in Feedzy.
Use one OpenAI API key across the network
You can use the same OpenAI API key on every subsite, but you need to enter it on each subsite separately:
- Go to Feedzy > Settings, disable Manage AI by Themeisle, and save the settings.
- Go to Feedzy > Integration and open the OpenAI tab.
- Paste your API key and click Validate & Save.
📝 Note: Manage AI by Themeisle is enabled by default where Feedzy runs for the first time, so check it on every new subsite. While it is enabled, Feedzy uses Themeisle-managed AI credits instead of your own key. See How to use Themeisle-managed AI and AI Quota in Feedzy.
For writing prompts, see How to paraphrase using AI in Feed to Post.
Check that each subsite works
On each subsite:
- Go to Feedzy > Dashboard > License and check that the license shows as active.
- If the subsite uses your own OpenAI key, go to Feedzy > Integration and check that the key validates.
- Run one of the subsite's import jobs against a feed with a new item. Check that the imported post uses that subsite's prompt and that it appears on that subsite only.
