How can I import different RSS feeds into specific categories?
Yes. A fixed selection in Post Taxonomy applies to all posts imported by that one import job, so you need a separate import job for each feed/category combination.
To route each feed into a specific WordPress category:
- Go to Feedzy > Import Posts.
- Click New Import.
- In Step 1: Sources configuration, add the RSS URL for the feed you want to import.
- Open Step 3: Map Content and set Post Taxonomy to the category you want for that feed.
- Finish and save the import job.
- Repeat these steps for every other feed that needs a different target category.
Result: each import job applies its own selected category to the posts it imports.
If you want dynamic category assignment instead of one fixed category per job:
- Use Item Categories (
[#item_categories]) when you want Feedzy to use categories provided by the source feed. If the RSS feed does not include category data, this option cannot import source categories. - Use Auto Categories by keyword (
[#auto_categories]) when you want Feedzy to assign categories based on title-keyword rules you configure.

Can the feed post link to the original site post?
Yes, Feedzy offers the possibility to link the imported post to the original one on the source website where it was imported.

Can we append content to a description or title in the feed?
Yes, appending static text in the title and content fields of the post is possible during the import. Alternatively, for adding different text from a post to another one in the title and content fields, those can be manually edited after being imported, like blog posts.
