ShopIsle Pro Updates, Licensing, and End-of-Life Status

⚠️ Important: ShopIsle Pro has been retired and is no longer available for new purchases or renewal. Existing sites can continue using the theme, but only active legacy subscriptions may still receive limited maintenance updates. For ongoing compatibility and support, migrate to Neve Pro.

ShopIsle Pro Current Status

ShopIsle Pro is no longer under active development. The theme has entered maintenance-only mode, which means:

  • No new features will be added.
  • Bug fixes are limited to critical security issues only.
  • The theme is being retired in favor of Neve Pro, Themeisle's actively developed flagship theme.
  • The product is no longer available for new purchases, and long-expired subscriptions cannot be renewed.

If you are currently running ShopIsle Pro, your existing site will continue to work. If you still have an active legacy subscription, you may continue to receive any remaining maintenance updates. However, for ongoing support, new features, and long-term compatibility with WordPress and WooCommerce, migrating to Neve Pro is the recommended path.

Updating ShopIsle Pro

ShopIsle Pro updates require an active legacy subscription license linked to your ThemeIsle account. If your subscription is no longer active, WordPress will not be able to download or install updates automatically.

Check whether your subscription is still active

  1. Log in to your ThemeIsle account.
  2. Navigate to Orders or Licenses in your account dashboard.
  3. Check whether your ShopIsle Pro license is still listed as active.

⚠️ Warning: If your ShopIsle Pro subscription is expired or no longer appears as active, you should not expect to see a renewal option. ShopIsle Pro has been retired, so expired or lapsed subscriptions are no longer available for renewal.

Verify your license in WordPress

If your ShopIsle Pro subscription is still active, make sure the license is active in your WordPress dashboard:

  1. In WordPress, go to Appearance > Themes.
  2. Locate ShopIsle Pro and open its details.
  3. Find the License field and confirm the license key is entered correctly.
  4. Click Activate License if it is not already active.

Once the license is active, return to Dashboard > Updates and check whether the ShopIsle Pro update is now available.

📝 Note: If you purchased ShopIsle Pro as part of a bundle, check whether the bundle license is still active in your ThemeIsle account. If no active ShopIsle Pro or bundle license is available, renewal is not offered for this retired product.

Can I renew an expired ShopIsle Pro subscription?

In most cases, no. ShopIsle Pro has been retired, so expired or lapsed subscriptions are no longer available for renewal and the product is no longer sold as a new purchase.

You can continue using an existing ShopIsle Pro site, but if your subscription is no longer active, you should plan to migrate to Neve for continued compatibility and support.

Why can't I renew my ShopIsle Pro subscription?

ShopIsle Pro was retired because it is no longer a good fit for current WordPress requirements, especially newer block editor workflows and long-term compatibility expectations. Renewals are no longer offered for this retired product, so ThemeIsle recommends moving to Neve or Neve Pro, which are actively maintained and better aligned with modern WordPress development.

Troubleshooting Update Failures

If ShopIsle Pro still fails to update and your legacy license is active, work through the steps below.

Check license validity

  • Confirm your license key is entered in Appearance > Themes > ShopIsle Pro and shows as Active.
  • Double-check that you are using the correct active legacy or bundle license — some accounts may have multiple products.

Clear update cache

WordPress caches update information. To force a fresh check:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Updates.
  2. Click Check Again to clear the update cache and re-check for available updates.

Isolate theme conflicts

A conflict with another theme or plugin can sometimes cause update failures. To rule this out:

  1. Temporarily activate a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty-Four via Appearance > Themes.
  2. Retry the ShopIsle Pro update from Dashboard > Updates.
  3. If the update succeeds, the conflict was related to your active theme or a child theme.
  4. Reactivate your previous theme after the update completes.

Check for plugin conflicts

Deactivate all plugins except ShopIsle Pro and retry the update. Re-enable plugins one at a time to identify any that interfere with the update process.

Contact support

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact Themeisle support with your license key and a description of the error message you see.

Migrating to Neve Pro

Because ShopIsle Pro is no longer actively developed, migrating to Neve Pro ensures you benefit from ongoing updates, new features, and full compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce.

If you can no longer renew ShopIsle Pro, the recommended path is to move to Neve or Neve Pro and use the Any Shop starter site for a similar store layout. See the How to get started with Neve Pro and Recreating a ShopIsle-style design in Neve Pro sections below for the replacement steps.

Why migrate to Neve Pro?

  • 🚀 Actively developed — regular updates, new features, and long-term support
  • 🛒 WooCommerce Booster — advanced e-commerce customization built in
  • 🖌 Starter Sites Library — import a ready-made WooCommerce store design in seconds
  • Performance optimized — lightweight codebase designed for speed
  • 🔌 Compatible with Elementor, Brizy, Beaver Builder, and other major page builders

How to get started with Neve Pro

📝 Note: If you have an active ShopIsle Pro subscription, Neve Pro is already included in your ThemeIsle account — there is no need to purchase it again. Log in to your ThemeIsle account and look for Neve Pro under your available downloads. If your subscription is active but you do not see Neve Pro listed, contact Themeisle support.

  1. Log in to your ThemeIsle account and download Neve Pro from your available products.
  2. Install the free Neve theme from Appearance > Themes > Add New, search for "Neve", and click Install, then Activate.
  3. Install and activate the Neve Pro plugin from your ThemeIsle account downloads.
  4. Enter your Neve Pro license key when prompted.
  5. Go to Neve > Starter Sites to browse and import a WooCommerce-ready starter site.

For full setup instructions, refer to the Neve Pro Documentation.

Recreating a ShopIsle-style design in Neve Pro

There is no automatic migration from ShopIsle Pro to Neve Pro. However, if you want to keep a similar shop design, there is a dedicated starter site — Any Shop — built specifically to match the kind of layout ShopIsle Pro provided.

The Any Shop starter site is available in two versions:

  • Block editor (core blocks) — works with any Neve Pro plan.
  • Elementor — requires a Neve Business or Agency subscription to use the Elementor template.

To import the Any Shop starter site:

  1. In WordPress, go to Neve > Starter Sites.
  2. Search for Any Shop.
  3. Select the version you want (Block editor or Elementor) and click Import.
  4. After import, use the WordPress Customizer or Site Editor to update your branding, colors, and content.

💡 Tip: Before migrating, take a full backup of your site. After activating Neve and importing a starter site, you can use the WordPress Customizer to replicate your existing branding and layout settings.
