How to Edit Zerif Latest News and Blog Archive Post Excerpt Length

This guide applies to all our themes but in this case we will be referring to the Zerif Latest News Section and Posts Archive. The excerpt length could be edited easily without touching the code by using WordPress' built in custom except option. By default this textarea is not shown and could be accessed by clicking "Screen Options" to the top of the Posts edit screen and selecting "Excerpt".

Add your custom except inside the new text area and save your post.
