How backup originals are stored and how to restore them in Robin Image Optimizer
Robin Image Optimizer can save a copy of each original image before optimization so you can restore them at any time.

Enable the backup process for images
Before optimizing, all your images will be saved in a separate folder for future recovery.
To enable this, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard > Robin Image Optimizer > Settings and enable "Backup images".
Restore the original images from the backup
Open WordPress Dashboard > Robin Image Optimizer > Settings and find Manage backups. The readout shows how many original images are stored in the backup folder and how much disk space that folder uses. If it says There are no backups., no original images are available, so Restore and Clear Backup are disabled because there is nothing to restore or remove.
Select Restore to replace optimized images with their backed-up originals.
Clear the backup
To remove stored backups, open Manage backups and select Clear Backup. Confirm only if you no longer need the originals; deleting the backups removes your ability to restore them.
