Limitations

WP Landing Kit has a few known limitations to be aware of before setting up your domain mapping configuration.

Landing Kit vs. Multisite

Landing Kit was intended for the rapid development and deployment of single lead pages or microsites and should not be utilized as a replacement for a Multisite WordPress installation.

Login pages and cross-domain sign-in

WP Landing Kit maps domains to pages and other supported WordPress resources on one installation. It does not create login forms or authenticate users. To provide login or membership features, use a separate login or membership plugin.

You can map a login page provided by another plugin if it exposes ordinary WordPress content that WP Landing Kit can map. The separate plugin determines how its forms, signed-in sessions, and behavior across domains work; compatibility is not guaranteed for every plugin. Mapping login pages on multiple domains does not automatically share a user's signed-in state across those domains. The ability to map multiple domains to one WordPress installation is separate from authentication and does not provide shared login.
