How to install, activate, and manually update Feedzy Pro
Thank you for choosing Feedzy RSS Feeds Premium.
To get started with it, you need to install the free and the premium version of the plugin. If you already have Feedzy Pro installed and are having trouble updating it from the WordPress dashboard, see the Update Feedzy Pro manually section below.
1. Install the free version of the Feedzy directly from your Dashboard
On your website, navigate to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new, search for Feedzy, install and activate it.

2. Get the pro addon and the license key from your ThemeIsle account

3. Install the Feedzy pro addon
On your website, navigate to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new, and upload the zip file downloaded at the previous step.

4. Activate the license key
After installing and activating both versions of the plugin, navigate to Feedzy > Dashboard > License and activate the license key at the top of the page.

Update Feedzy Pro manually
If the WordPress dashboard update for Feedzy Pro fails, is missing, or shows an error, you can manually replace the plugin by uploading the latest zip from your ThemeIsle account.
📝 Note: Feedzy Pro is a separate add-on that works alongside the free Feedzy RSS Feeds plugin. Both plugins need to stay installed and active for Pro features to work. Make sure you keep both updated.
Follow these steps to manually update Feedzy Pro:
- Log in to your ThemeIsle account.
- Go to Downloads and find the Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro entry.
- Click the download button to save the latest
.zipfile to your computer. - In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Click Choose File, select the
.zipfile you just downloaded, and click Install Now. - If WordPress detects that the plugin is already installed, it will prompt you to confirm the replacement. Choose Replace current with uploaded to overwrite the existing version.
- Once the upload completes, click Activate Plugin.

After updating: verify the license and versions
After completing the manual update, confirm that both plugins are running correctly:
- Go to Plugins in your WordPress dashboard and verify that both Feedzy RSS Feeds (free) and Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro show as Active and are at their latest versions.
- Navigate to Feedzy > Dashboard > License.
- Check that your license key shows an Active status.
- If the license status looks stale or still shows an older version, click Deactivate License and then reactivate by entering your license key and clicking Activate License.

💡 Tip: If you do not see the License panel under Feedzy > Dashboard, make sure the Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro plugin is active. The license panel only appears when the Pro add-on is enabled.
If automatic updates fail because of license status
WordPress delivers automatic Feedzy Pro updates through the license validation system. If the license is inactive, expired, or connected to a different domain, WordPress cannot verify your subscription and will not offer the update.
Common reasons automatic updates stop working:
- The license key is no longer active in the ThemeIsle account.
- The subscription has expired.
- The site URL has changed and no longer matches the domain registered in the ThemeIsle account.
- The domain or activation slot limit on the license has been reached.
To check and fix your license:
- Log in to your ThemeIsle account and open your Subscriptions or Orders page.
- Confirm that the subscription is still active and has not expired.
- Check whether the domain registered to the license matches your current site URL.
- If the domain does not match, update it from within your account, or contact ThemeIsle support for help correcting the registered domain.
- Once the license state is corrected in the account, return to Feedzy > Dashboard > License in WordPress, deactivate the key, and reactivate it.
⚠️ Important: If your subscription has expired, you will need to renew it before automatic updates become available again. You can still use the current version of Feedzy Pro after expiry, but you will not receive updates until the subscription is renewed.
Multisite and duplicate Feedzy Pro installs
On WordPress multisite installations, Feedzy Pro is managed from Network Admin > Plugins. Duplicate or outdated copies of the Pro add-on can prevent a clean update.
- Log in to your multisite Network Admin and go to Plugins.
- Look for multiple entries of Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro. If duplicate copies exist, Network Deactivate and Delete any outdated copies, keeping only the most recently uploaded version.
- To install the latest version, go to Network Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and follow the same upload steps described in the Update Feedzy Pro manually section.
- Network Activate the newly uploaded Feedzy Pro version.
- Confirm that only one Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro entry appears in the plugin list.
⚠️ Important: Manage Pro plugin uploads and activations from Network Admin, not from individual site dashboards, to ensure the plugin is available across all sites in the network.
When to contact support
If following the steps in this article does not resolve the issue, contact ThemeIsle support and include the following information to speed up the resolution:
- The exact error message or screenshot from the failed WordPress update.
- The current version numbers of both Feedzy RSS Feeds (free) and Feedzy RSS Feeds Pro.
- The license status shown under Feedzy > Dashboard > License.
- Whether the site is a standard WordPress install or a multisite network.
- Any PHP fatal error or server error visible in the WordPress debug log or on-screen.
- Confirmation of whether the
.zipfile appears in the Downloads section of your ThemeIsle account.
📝 Note: If the Feedzy Pro .zip file does not appear in your ThemeIsle account Downloads, your subscription may not include download access. Contact support and mention that the download is missing from your account.
