The Otter Blocks help you to create the desired blog page or to increase your website's credibility using the post-related blocks:


🗞️ Posts

The Posts block can make your website's posts even more accessible.

Settings tab

  • Layout -  choose the Post Type, display them as a Grid or List, the number of columns, and the content alignment.
  •  Settings -  contains settings like choosing the order and the categories of the posts you want to be displayed, controlling the number of posts if you don't want to display all of them, and adding an offset if you want to pass over some of the posts. You can also enable the featured post for the displayed posts and choose the text alignment.
  • Elements - customize the Image / Category / Title / Meta / Description, control their visibility of the elements by clicking on the 👁️ icon or reorder them.

Style tab - contains appearance settings, such as style, typography, the color of text and background, image customization, spacing between the posts, and border options.

Use cases for the Posts block

  • display the available posts in a list format

📰 About Author

As expected from the name, this block showcases the author's  biography.

This is the easiest way to insert the author's details below the post.

📝 Note: This block has been removed from Otter's Library starting with the 5.9 WordPress version, but you can find it as Author Box Pattern. Learn more from this doc.
