Everything you need to know about the Starter Sites Library

The Starter Sites are a powerful tool of web development, very useful for users since it does not require any technical skills. You can design an entire website with a wide palette with just a few clicks.

📥 Onboarding New Users

If you are a new user, right after activating Templates Cloud, the Starter Sites experience will be facilitated by the onboarding modal. After introducing the type of website you need, you can select from the available designs according to the page builder.

📝 Note: Please note that this section is exclusively for new users. You will be able to access the onboarding modal only if you have activated Neve on the last day or if you didn't complete the import (you didn't click on Subscribe/Skip and view website). For existing users, please refer to the next paragraph.

Once you have made your choice, you can customize the design directly from the modal, using Colors and Typography controls:

Next, you can add the site details, such as the site title, and upload a logo:

Below, you can see the Advanced Settings accordion, which contains controls for import: Content (import the starter site entirely, including the content), Customizer, Widgets, and Performance features. Also, the plugins used for creating the starter site and that will be installed are listed there:

After that, you can click on Import Website, and everything will be ready.

🛠 Available Actions

Some of the starter sites allow importing just a particular page or all of them without getting the Customizer options, widgets area, and menus. Below, we have described the importing methods for both new users (after completing the import) and existing users:

The whole website

After installing the Neve theme, navigate to  Neve > Neve Options.

Click on the Starter Sites tab.

Pick the desired starter site and click on the Import button on hover.

Click on the Import entire site button.

Only certain pages

After installing the Neve theme, navigate to Neve > Neve Options.

Click on the Starter Sites tab.

Pick the desired starter site and click the View pages button on hover.

Check the pages and pick the ones that suit your needs by clicking on the Import button.

Templates Cloud

📝 Note: If you have the Neve Pro Agency package, whenever you are editing a Gutenberg page, a button will be available for saving it as a template in your library.

Create the page that you want to convert into a template, then click on the Templates Cloud.

After finishing the editing process, click on Save Page to Neve Cloud. 

📝 Note: If you want to avoid doing these steps always, enable the Automatically sync to the cloud option.

To import it, navigate to Neve Options (1) > Go to Starter Sites > My Library (2) and click on the Import button (3).

As an alternative to importing the created template, you can create a new page (or use an old one), click on the plus button (1) to  add a new  block and  insert a Templates Cloud block (2).

From the window that appears,  select the  template page you have created and click on the Import button.

📝 Note: The templates saved in the My Library section are available for import on any website where your Neve Pro Agency license is active.

Page Template

The Templates Cloud plugin offers the possibility of importing  page templates. To do this, navigate to Neve Options > Starter Sites > Page Templates and start exploring the options.

Cleanup previous import

Suppose you have already imported a website and want to import a new one without combining the content or any other problem. In that case, you can enable the Cleanup previous import option, and only the new starter site will remain imported.

🗂 Free - Premium Starter Sites

The  library of Starter Sites is very wide, but it depends on the pricing plans: Personal, Business, and Agency.

Free

The free starter sites are available in all versions of Neve: free | Personal | Business | Agency. 

Premium

To use premium starter sites available for other page builders as well (Elementor), you will have to purchase one of the Business or Agency plans.
