How to Disable AI Agent Support in Themeisle Products
If you prefer not to use any AI integration, you can turn it off completely with a ready-made snippet plugin. This guide explains what the snippet does, how to choose the right one, and how to install it — no code editing required.

What the snippet does
Themeisle products include AI agent support: each product can register abilities with the WordPress Abilities API (available in WordPress 6.9 or later) so an AI agent or connector plugin can act on it, and it can show a Connect your AI agent prompt in your dashboard.
The snippet turns both of these off for the product it covers:
- Hides the Connect your AI agent prompt — the admin notice, the setup modal, and the link in the product's row on the Plugins screen.
- Removes the product's abilities from the WordPress Abilities API, so no AI agent or connector plugin can see or use them.
Nothing else in the product changes. All of its regular features keep working exactly as before, and you can still use the product without any AI integration.
📝 Note: This is different from how a connector such as Easy MCP AI works. On Easy MCP AI > Tools > Abilities, all abilities are off by default and administrators can enable or untick abilities per product. The snippet is for people who want the product itself to register nothing at all.
Choose a snippet
There are two options:
- Site-wide — one snippet that covers every Themeisle plugin and theme on the site, including ones you install later.
- Per-product — a snippet that covers a single product, if you want to keep AI agent support available for your other Themeisle products.

Install the snippet
Each snippet is a tiny plugin packaged as a zip file, so you install it like any other plugin:
- In the tables above, click Download zip for the snippet you want and save the zip file to your computer.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File, select the downloaded zip file, and click Install Now.
- Click Activate.
The AI agent prompt disappears and the covered product's abilities are removed as soon as the snippet is active.
💡 Tip: If you already manage code snippets another way, the same snippet also works as a must-use (mu) plugin or pasted into a snippets plugin. Uploading the zip as a plugin is the simplest option for most sites.
Re-enable AI agent support
Deactivating or deleting the snippet plugin brings the AI features back: the Connect your AI agent prompt reappears and the product registers its abilities with the Abilities API again. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, find the snippet plugin, and click Deactivate.
