Templates Cloud Library

đź“ť Note: The Templates Cloud is a premium plugin, which you can get from here.

We’re excited to introduce the latest version of our plugin, now built on a server-client architecture to give you more flexibility in managing patterns through your Cloud library. This documentation is divided into two chapters to cover both the new version and the legacy plugin, which may still be in use.

Templates Cloud

The latest version of the plugin relies on two components. The Templates Cloud plugin acts as the server, and Otter Blocks (free) acts as a client.

đź“ť Note: The Neve Pro Agency license can be used to activate the Templates Cloud Plugin.

đź“© Download and Install

1
Navigate to the ThemeIsle Store and download the Template Cloud Plugin.

2
Click on the license key and copy it.

3
Navigate to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
4
Upload the zip of the Template Cloud plugin and Activate it.

5
Now Navigate to Appearance > Template Cloud, enter your license key and click the Activate button.

đź“ť The Otter Blocks plugin can be downloaded from here or found directly in WordPress dashboard.

How it works?

You can save full-page designs and import them as a whole or just pieces of patterns to reuse later. This way, you don’t have to re-create the same design over and over again—you just pull it up from your library!

Saving the whole page

Save an entire page or post to the cloud by following these steps: click on the  Document Overview icon in the top left corner to view the list of current blocks. Press and hold the Shift key to select multiple blocks, then click the three dots next to the first block in the selection. Finally, choose the Create pattern button to save your selection.

Saving a block/section

To save an individual block or section to the library, simply select the block, click on the three dots, and choose the  Create pattern button.

Manage Patterns with Templates Cloud Server

The Templates Cloud Server plugin allows you to seamlessly manage access keys and collections, enabling you to share and expose your design patterns effortlessly across multiple websites.

To create your Access keys, please navigate to Appearance > Template Cloud > Access Keys

Add a key name and define access and collection to your access key as per your requirements.

Now, you will get an Access key and an API URL, which you can use on any other website to access this pattern using the Otter Blocks plugin.

Re-use Patterns Across Your Websites with Otter Blocks

With the Otter Blocks plugin, go to the  Settings page, navigate to the Integrations tab, and locate the Template Cloud section. Add a source by entering the API URL and Access Key. The patterns shared via this key will then be available directly in the editor under the Patterns tab.

Reuse design patterns across multiple websites using API URLs and access keys. With the Otter Blocks plugin, you can browse and import shared patterns through the integrations panel, making it simple to maintain consistency in your designs.

Easy Import

Importing templates from the Cloud has never been easier—directly within your page editor!

Open the dedicated modal to access all your Cloud patterns and explore a wide range of ready-made templates available through the Otter Blocks plugin. Just click the Otter Patterns button at the top of the editor to get started.

Templates Cloud - Legacy Version

Please note that there is a newer version of this plugin available, that works on a client-server based architecture as explained in the above chapter. The version covered in  this chapter relies solely on the legacy version of the Templates Cloud plugin, while the latest version consists of two plugins Templates Cloud Server and Otter Blocks (as Client).

If you’re already using the Templates Patterns Collection plugin, you can continue to use that functionality while also benefiting from the new updates. When you update the plugin, you will get Starter Sites for Neve Plugin. If you’ve previously saved templates in the cloud library, they will still work as before. Otherwise, the new plugin is only providing starter sites for Neve.

📦 Saving a template to the cloud

Saving the whole page
Saving a block/section

Saving the whole page

A page or post can be saved to the cloud when accessed with the WordPress default editor ( Gutenberg ) by clicking on the Cloud Templates logo at the top of the right sidebar and clicking on the Save to Templates Cloud button.

For automatically saving further changes applied to this page in the cloud, enable the  automatic sync.

Saving a block/section

It is also possible to  save just a block to the library by selecting it, clicking on the three dots, and choosing Save to Templates Cloud.

đź“Ą Importing a template from the cloud

From My Library

Templates can be imported from the library by accessing the page in Dashboard > Appearance > My Library.

By clicking the  import button at the end of the row, a new page will be automatically created with the template from your library. You can choose to view or edit the page directly from the portal.

Using the Templates Cloud block

Another way to import the templates saved here is by using the Templates Cloud block for the WordPress editor. To do this, click to add a new block and search for the Templates Cloud.

The modal from the below screenshot will appear. From there, choose the desired template from the My Library tab.

This way, the template will be imported directly into the current page instead of a newly created one.

🧰 Managing templates

The templates can be managed in  Dashboard > Appearance > My Library. From here, it is possible to import them on a newly created page, change their names, and delete them.

Templates

Editing a template name can be done directly from the library. This option is available only for saved blocks. For pages, the edit button is not clickable within the library, as their title can be changed while editing the page.

đź“ť Note: According to the page builder you're using, you can switch the tabs between Gutenberg, Elementor, and Beaver.

Layout

You can also opt for a different  layout when viewing the templates from List and Grid.

Sync

To make sure you are viewing all the saved templates, the  sync button can be used.

đź“Ś Accessing my templates on a new website

To access your saved templates on a different website, two steps are required.

1
Access the My Library page in  Dashboard > Appearance > My Library.
2

Make sure your  license key is active on the new website.

3

Click the  sync button to load the existing templates.

🧩 Using the Elementor page builder

The above scenario can be easily adjusted for the Elementor page builder, not only for Gutenberg.

đź“ť Note: Such Templates can be saved to the Templates Cloud library and later used in Elementor only if created with Elementor.

First, make sure you have installed and activated the Elementor plugin.

1

Create a new page and click on Edit with Elementor.

2

Build the desired page template using the available elements from the left sidebar.

3

When everything is done, click on the third button from the section.

4

This Templates Cloud modal will appear; click the saving icon from the right corner.

5

The title from this field is the same as the page's name. Click on the Save button to save the template.

đź“ť Note: You can enable the automatic syncing to the cloud to keep the template up to date.

You will notice the template created in the My Library tab. All you have to do is to navigate to the page where you want to use the template and click on the Insert button.

This can be found under Appearance > My Library and switch to the Elementor tab.
