How to reorder popular categories in ShopIsle

In this guide you will learn how to reorder the categories that appear inside the Categories section on the Frontpage.

Please note that this guide will work only if you are using the WooCommerce plugin

As you may already know, in order to display the categories inside the Categories section on the Frontpage, you can pick them from the list below:

Also, as mentioned there as well, you may pick multiple categories by holding the CTRL key for Windows or the CMD key for Mac. But even though you pick them in a specific order, the categories will not be displayed in the order you clicked on them.

So what can we do in order to ensure that the categories are displayed in a correct / logical order chosen by us? Well, it's actually quite easy. Let's follow the series of steps presented below:

Navigate to: WP-admin dashboard -> Products -> Categories
Simply drag & drop the categories from that list according to your preferences as you can see below:

After completing this step, picking up multiple categories from the Customizer, will automatically display them in the order you set from the WP-admin dashboard. That's all!
